Same AI technology.
Different business risks?

Four companies say AI creates risks. An analyst needs to know how those risks connect to the business—and whether anything has changed.

Basic Python. No extra packages. AI assistance optional.

Would you put these risks
in the same category?

Start with twelve selected passages from eight original annual reports. Identify what each passage says could happen, who is involved, and how the business could be affected.

Then compare both directions: across companies and across years. A risk can distinguish a company even when its wording has not changed.

A comparison you can defend.

  1. 01

    Map the mechanisms

Build a four-company matrix. Support shared risks and differences with exact source passages. Keep missing evidence visible.

  2. 02

    Test the words

Write a small Python search and comparison. Check where keyword matches and changed wording leave the business question unresolved.

  3. 03

    Audit the interpretation

Optionally ask an AI assistant for structured findings. Check its quotations, actors and qualifications; correct or reject unsupported connections.

Write one tentative comparison.

Make your first judgment before asking a model. The full task guides you from that draft to a matrix, two year-over-year findings and a specific follow-up investigation.

The packet compares selected disclosures. It does not rank investment risk or establish that a loss occurred. Fiscal-year labels do not imply identical reporting or filing dates.
